Biography:

Randy Wynn is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.  He started his career in the field of Energy Efficiency at Alabama Power Company in 1983. In 1994 he started Energy Services at Alabama Power where he began Developing and Project Managing Energy Efficiency Projects for school systems, Universities, State of Alabama facilities, Hospitals, Industrial and Federal customers.  His UESC experience includes projects at Ft Rucker, Anniston Army Depot, Maxwell AFB, and the USDA.  Randy retired from APC in 2018 and started his own energy consulting services company, called Wynn Energy Services, that specializes in heat recovery and Federal UESC energy projects. He is currently assisting South Alabama Electric Cooperative with development of UESC projects at Ft Rucker. Over his career Randy has developed and project managed the installation of over $100 million of energy efficiency projects including $45 million at Ft Rucker alone. Randy’s projects have won several energy efficiency awards including three at Ft Rucker; the 2015 Secretary of the Army Energy Award, the 2014 Association of Defense Communities Installation of Excellence Award, the prestigious 2013 Commander in Chief’s Installation of Excellence Award.
