Biography:

Michael Parker has 37 years of experience in the energy conservation field. He has led the detailed engineering and financial analyses of Federal ESPCs for Johnson Controls since 1995. Mike’s portfolio of ESPCs of nearly $1 Billion includes notable customers as USAG Kwajalein Atoll, Fort Bliss, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Y-12 National Security Complex. Mike earned his BSME at the University of Hartford and MBA at the University of New Mexico. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Demand Side Management Professional (CDSM), Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP) and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP). Mike was named the International Energy Engineer by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in 1998 and has since been recognized as an AEE Legend in Energy and designated a Fellow in the organization. He served on the AEE Performance Contracting and Funding Professional Certification Board, is a founding board member and officer of the Central PA Chapter of AEE, and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). Mike lives in Mechanicsburg, PA with his wife Cindy and two sons, Luke and Ryan, where he serves as the Committee Chairman for Trail Life Troop 304.
