Tim Tetreault is the Energy and Water Program Manager for DoD’s Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP).  ESTCP, along with its sister program, the Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) are the Department of Defense’s environmental and installation energy and water research programs harnessing the latest science and technology to improve DoD’s environmental and installation energy and water performance, reduce costs, and enhance and sustain mission capabilities.  Under Tim’s management, ESTCP has approximately 70 active technology demonstration projects, ranging from water conservation, HVAC and lighting technologies to advanced microgrids and control system cybersecurity solutions.  Prior to ESTCP, Tim worked at DOE’s National Renewable Energy Lab as a Project Lead assisting DoD and federal clients in evaluating and developing energy projects.
