Presentation Description:

New technologies come with their own challenges. Often innovative financing vehicles and contracting mechanisms need to be developed to support new and emerging technologies to integrate them into performance-based energy programs. In addition, executive and legislative issues delay the infusion of new technologies into the marketplace. Furthermore, integration of new technologies often requires the creation of new building codes and creations of or adjustments to new utility regulations and requires support from ancillary organizations. This session will address all of the above issues to provide a holistic understanding of the multiple challenges that integration of new technologies undergo and how to overcome them.
